Skagit Behavioral Health is a consortium of established independent mental health practitioners, each of whom is fully licensed in their profession and areas of expertise. The group was formed in 1993 and has operated in Skagit County providing mental health services in close cooperation with primary care physicians, Employee Assistance Programs, schools, and managed care entities. Direct service providers currently include clinical psychologists, clinical social workers, marriage & family therapists, and licensed mental health counselors. Each provider has their own practice. Providers rent their own offices, keep their own hours, decide upon their own caseloads, and are responsible for the private billing of their clients. You get complete independence in managing your work and schedule, while benefiting from the collaborative environment provided by a group practice. Four hours a month of consultation is provided, and an answering service is in place with shared coverage.

 

Skagit Behavioral Health provides a business manager who provides a single contact phone service, handles provider credentialing, insurance verification, insurance billing and a variety of other services for all its providers. We are not accepting applications from providers with an associate-level license. This is an insurance-based private practice that has been serving the community's behavioral health needs for over 30 years.
