I believe that therapy is a collaborative process that emphasizes the client-therapist relationship. I work to understand the client's needs and creates a treatment approach that is tailored to fit the client. Although I work from a wide variety of therapeutic techniques, my work is heavily influenced by Client Centered Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Attachment Theory, Solution-Focused Therapy and existential and behavioral models. I work to empower and encourage my clients through using a wide range of intentional therapeutic techniques and interventions.

I am trained in Common Elements Treatment Approach (CETA), a cognitive behavioral approach that aims to reduce anxiety, depression and posttraumatic stress symptoms. If you are interested in learning more about CETA and how it may help you, please feel free to contact me directly.

Personal Information

I love spending time outdoors with my family, friends and Golden Retriever, Bentley. When I am out of the office, I spend most of my time riding horses with my husband and working on our new home and property in Skagit Valley. I enjoy fitness, reading a good book, hiking and traveling back to ny home state of Idaho whenever I can to visit family.
