Counseling with Anne Fons

Anne sees counseling as a unique relationship that helps people manage life's difficulties in healthy and productive ways. She supports people as they heal mind, heart and spirit while they learn positive ways to think and cope. When anxiety, depression, health issues, relationship issues, loss and grief, life transitions or other concerns make it difficult to handle challenges you face, you deserve the kind of support that counseling offers. Anne will help you to manage both everyday difficulties and traumatic events that may have occurred.

Anne works with men, women, adolescents and children as young as 7 years old. She uses a variety of approaches: talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, dream work, sand tray therapy, mindfulness, art expression, body centered therapy, spirituality, visualization and play therapy. She works with each client to determine which approaches work best for them.

It is Anne's hope that in her relationship with the people she serves, they will feel free to bring any concerns they have. While it is sometimes difficult for people to share openly at first, Anne has seen trust grow and doors to healing open up. She listens, gives feedback, helps clients to problem solve, teaches coping strategies, shares information and identifies other resources if needed.
